The second annual White Center Tree Lighting Celebration is scheduled to take place on Sunday, Dec. 11th, with a meeting to help prepare for it on Friday, Dec. 9th.

Artists are needed to help create art for the tree, including a tree topper, and musicians, singers and choirs are also needed – so if you can lend a hand, show up first to the Dec. 9th meeting.

Here are the details:

PREP MEETING: Friday, Dec. 9th 10 a.m.-ish

TREE LIGHTING: Sunday, Dec. 11th at 5 p.m. at Veteran’s Triangle Park, 16th & Roxbury

“We are planning to hang bows from light posts and LED lights above the 16th Ave sidewalks,” reads an announcement.
