WCB Reader Robbie Howell sent us the following photos, of which she says:

“King County Engineers are creating a lovely small lake from the White Center Neighborhood Pond. The ducks and other water fowl love it, and you will too! Congratulations King County, this is wonderful improvement for White Center!”

The pond, sometimes referred to as the White Center Bog (not to be confused with Blog) is located at 13th Avenue SW and SW 102nd, and the park contains about 5 acres of linear open space, as well as a north-south trail.
