Holy Family Parish is sponsoring “El Carnaval” on Satrurday, Aug. 29th from 10am-10pm and Sunday, Aug. 30th from 10am-4pm at their campus in White Center.

The entire community is invited to meet their neighbors, and here are the details:

WHAT: Holy Family Parish’s “El Carnaval” Street Fair

WHEN: Saturday, Aug. 29th from 10am to 10pm and Sunday, Aug. 30th from 10am to 4pm

WHERE: Holy Family Church, located at 9622 20th Ave SW at Roxbury

INFO: The fair will have:

• Vendors
• Bands
• Children’s activities
• Food
• Bingo
• A beer garden
• Many other fun activities

They are planning to close 20^th Street from Roxbury for one block between the Parish and the School, and will open this area to the entire community for an opportunity to meet our neighbors. The school will also be open to all.

“Holy Family Parish School has a rich history having served the White Center community for over 80 years.

We are a very diverse community and we are welcoming everyone to come together to have a lot of fun.

We would love to see the entire White Center community come together to meet each other and have fun!”

Grace Church is offering up a free “Kickin’ It Soccer Camp VBS” from Monday July 27th to Friday July 31st, from 5:30pm-8:00pm at their campus at 10323 28th Ave SW.

This Soccer Camp is intended for kids entering Kindergarten through 5th grade, and here’s a blurb from the church:

Come on over and bring your friends for soccer, food, crafts and all sorts of FREE fun!

We will start each night out with dinner from 5:30-6:00 then off the kids go for an action packed evening (parents are welcome to stay and watch, or they can go and have a relaxing child-free evening).

Shorewood Christian School’s annual auction is coming up this Saturday, March 28th, starting at 5pm, and here are the details:

WHAT: Shorewood Christian School’s annual auction, with the theme “Come Aboard Our Cruise Ship”

COST: “Boarding Passes” are $25.00 each.

The theme of this year’s dinner-auction, “Come Aboard Our Cruise Ship”, docks at Shorewood Foursquare Sanctuary at 5pm.

This is a fun filled evening of buffet dining, with a silent and live auction benefiting Shorewood Christian School.

The proceeds from the auction this year goes to Shorewood Christians’ high school expansion efforts.
