The Salvation Army in White Center will kickoff its holiday fundraising season this Thursday, Nov. 7, 2019 with its 2nd annual Kettle Kickoff.

The celebratory event will be held at The Salvation Army White Center Community Center, located at 9050 16th Ave SW (map below).

The event will be hosted by Salvation Army leaders in White Center, Captains Anthony and Lisa Barnes. Together they direct The Salvation Army’s office in White Center, which provides services to local families and individuals in need throughout the area.

“Community engagement and partnerships are at the heart of what we do,” said Captain Anthony. “We hope to identify a sense of belonging, not just for those we serve, but also for those who partner with us in providing the service.”

The Kettle Kickoff event entitled “You Belong” will include dinner, an update on the work of The Salvation Army in White Center, and an opportunity to experience the miracles that take place on a daily basis.

Reservations for the event are still available at 206-717-7454. There is no charge for attending the event, but guests are expected to donate to The Salvation Army that day – cash or check in a red kettle, or online at Northwest.SalvationArmy.org.
