The King County Sheriff’s Office says that they are continuing to place emphasis on combating gang violence in the Burien/White Center area, and here’s an update:

On Thursday, Dec. 12, 2019, a multi-jurisdictional team made seven arrests: five for outstanding felony warrants and two for Violation of the Uniform Firearms Act (VUFA).

Three handguns were recovered, one of them stolen, and the other two were in the hands of convicted felons, who are not allowed by law to possess firearms.

A stolen Vespa was also located at the home where the felons were illegally in possession of weapons.

“Great work by our patrol deputies and detectives at Precinct 4 (Burien/White Center), Metro Transit detectives, and the Department of Corrections (DOC). All deserve credit for this successful emphasis.”
