The King County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help identifying a suspected intruder:

Imagine waking up to an intruder standing in your hallway.

A White Center family recently had that experience.

On June 14, 2021 at 3:26 a.m., the homeowner called 9-1-1 from the 9800 block of 26th Avenue SW (map below). He explained to the responding deputy that he woke to the sound of his home alarm. He got out of bed to investigate and saw this woman standing in his hallway.

He yelled at her to leave and pushed her out the back door. She was muttering something about “other people” as she went. She may have been hallucinating.

Once the suspect was out of the house, she casually walked back to the front of the victim’s home, then walked off eastbound on SW 100th Street.

She is now wanted for residential burglary. This female is in her late 20’s, 5’9″ with black hair. She was wearing headphones around her neck and a black hoodie and pants.

If you recognize the suspect, please contact our non-emergency number at 206-296-3311 reference case #C21018420.
